Wild Pink - "The Shining But Tropical"

Wild Pink is back in a massive way. Last week, the Brooklyn trio shared “The Shining But Tropical,” the first single from their forthcoming third LP, A Billion Little Lights. The song carries the torch from some of the vast and wide-open sounding songs that appeared on their 2018 album Yolk In The Fur.

I've always been very impressed with this band’s ability to craft larger than life songs, especially as a three-piece. Their latest single is a welcome addition to their growing catalog of towering heartland rock anthems, as it features a celestial mixture of guitars, synths, and percussion that’ll make you feel like you’re weightless, floating off in space.
