The Boy From The South - "Feelin The Vibe"

“Feelin’ The Vibe” by London’s The Boy From The South is brimming with the kind of laid back sound that’ll make you wish it was still summertime.  And while the song definitely sounds and feels chill, that doesn’t mean it moves slowly. With a brisk rhythm, Pedro Balaña, the man behind the project, sings about those good feelings that flow through you after hearing an undeniably catchy hook.

You may very well know what he’s talking about after listening to this song thanks to his crafty guitar work.  Quite simply, Balaña knows how to make a guitar sound like it’s having the time of its life. He finds that perfect warm tone that’s not too subdued as to put you to sleep, but still sparkling enough to soundtrack a bright sunny day. Balaña’s also sings quite rhythmically, adding an extra percussive element that’s firmly in lockstep with the track’s fun and exuberant beat. The song’s feel-good spirit gains additional steam from floaty background synths that further adds to its atmosphere of chill.
