The Lemon Twigs - "Corner Of My Eye"

The Lemon Twigs recently announced their signing with Captured Tracks and with it, shared a brand new single called “Corner of My Eye.” It’s great to see the Brooklyn-based label add a bonafide power pop act to their current roster, as they’ve had some great bands in that genre in the past. Who remembers the great Brooklyn band EZTV? They were one of my favorite acts during the mid-2010s. 

The Daddario brothers have the power pop pastiche down to a science. So, if you’re as much of a Todd fanatic as I am, then you’ll love this tune. Hell, they both look like carbon copies of Rundgren circa 1976. Put “Corner of My Eye” on shuffle with Something / Anything? and bask in its glory.
