Duke of Vandals - "Porno Witches"

My friend Eric Speck lobbied hard for “Porno Witches” by Duke of Vandals to be the Look At My Records! song of the week during this past Saturday’s edition of Local Fidelity. I didn’t need much convincing, though. The uproarious tune is two minutes and fifty-eight seconds of pure unadulterated rock and roll complete with thrashy guitars and a heady rhythm section. It’s what we’ve come to expect from this Brooklyn outfit, as their style of punk draws influence from some heavier sources like Black Sabbath, Motörhead, and Suicidal Tendencies. The song is crammed with all the energy you could possibly fit into just under three minutes and features the rousing, fist-raising final refrain of “Porno Witches!”
