The 65's - "Waiting Here So Long"

The 65’s are back with another captivating music video to wrap up this insane year. This time, it’s for “Waiting Here So Long,” one of the most piercing tracks from their latest EP, Never Say Never.  The song, which is steered by a barrage of pointed riffs and frontman Joe Pugsley’s throaty snarl, delivers a fierce critique of the hypocrisy and destructive impact that organized religion imposes on individuals and society as a whole. 

Like their last video for “Keep The Lights On,” Neil Sabatino of Mint 400 Records provided his directing talents for “Waiting Here So Long.” In a similar fading style, the video transitions between some grim imagery of headstones and cemetery statues to shots of Pugsley passionately singing. The somber visuals follow the cataclysmic imagery created through the song’s fiery and sharp lyrics.
