PYNKIE - "Personality"

PYNKIE - "Personality"

If you’ve ever met Lindsey Radice, better known as PYNKIE, you definitely know she has personality.  She’s bubbly and silly - cracking jokes on stage, sometimes talking about how much she loves Courage The Cowardly Dog, and just being all-around delightful. Her bright and cheerful persona is fun and engaging, but her songs can be pretty deep. She’s adept at opening up and acutely conveying feelings of love and loss with her razor-sharp wit, natural knack for melody, and fun-loving nature.

Her brand new single, “Personality,” cleverly expounds on the impact of divorce on a child. The song’s lyrics appear to capture bits and pieces of dialogue between bickering parents as observed from the perspective of a child, as they fight over things like furniture.  The song has lots of cool sonic touches including some spacey sound effects that float around amongst jangly guitars and thick synths.

“Personality” is the first single from PYNKIE’s forthcoming album, 37, which is scheduled for release on October 16th. You can pre-order the record on limited edition pink vinyl or cassette via Bandcamp.  Keep up with PYNKIE by liking her on Facebook and following her on Instagram.

To coincide with the release of the single, PYNKIE also shared an awesome video for the song, which you can watch below!
