You can also listen to this episode on your streaming platform of choice via Wavve.
Episode 122 of Look At My Records features an interview with Brooklyn alternative-pop outfit Brother Moses. The quartet, who formed about six years ago in Arkansas, just released their second full-length, Desperation Pop, back in March. In this episode, you’ll hear all about the process behind writing and recording the album, plus some choice cuts from the record, including the singles “Sam & Diane” and “Bathroom Floor.” You’ll also hear about the band’s origins in Arkansas and their collective move to New York City back in 2018. Oh, and the band gives us the low down on their chance meeting with the legendary Jeff Goldblum and their .ORG domain name. We also spun some records from Wild Pink, Wilco, Talking Heads, and Simon & Garfunkel.
You can pre-order Desperation Pop on limited edition red vinyl via the band’s website or Bandcamp. Their music is also available on all streaming platforms!
