Lee Baggett Announces Forthcoming Release of New Album 'Anyway,' Out September 30th via Perpetual Doom
Today, Perpetual Doom is launching pre-orders for Anyway, the forthcoming album from legendary folk troubadour Lee Baggett. The record is out on September 30th and follows the 2021 release of the songwriter’s once lost album, Just A Minute.
Over the course of the last few decades, Baggett has donned many musical hats, only recently releasing music under his given name. He’s been a revolving member of Little Wings, collaborated with Kyle Fields as Be Gulls, and shared some solo recordings under the moniker Lee Gull. Just A Minute saw Baggett piece together a string of “hazy sunset tunes,” an apt sonic descriptor that he carries over to Anyway.
In addition to limited edition green and standard black vinyl pressings of Anyway, Perpetual Doom is also sharing some exclusive festival-themed merch, including a frisbee, a book of Illustrations by Baggett, an awesome visor, and more.
You can stream “Fruit Dog,” the album’s lead single, below. You can pre-order a copy of the record and/or several different merch bundles via Bandcamp.
